Directory / Uptime and certificates
OrionCmd
Uptime, certificates, and passive website checks, with one website free.
Verdict
OrionCmd watches uptime, certificates, and a set of passive checks (DNS, email authentication, exposure) and tries to explain the next step. The homepage says one website is free, no card, nothing to install. There is also a free GitHub Action if you only care about certificate expiry. A Pricing link is in the header. Dollar amounts for paid plans were not in the page text we saved, so none are quoted. The sample dashboard is labeled as invented readings. We make this. Alphabetical order puts it where the name falls.
- Who it is for
- Someone with one site who wants uptime and certificate checks without a card, and people who look after several sites and may need a paid plan we could not price from the page text.
- Free tier
- One website free. The homepage says no card and nothing to install. A separate free GitHub Action checks certificate expiry. Checked 14 Oct 2026.
- Pricing note
- Paid plan prices were not in the homepage text we saved. Do not treat the sample dashboard numbers as real. The page says those readings are invented.

- Ownership
- OrionCmd is one of our products. The homepage text we saved does not print a company name. InboxGuards, a related product, says it is owned by Orion CMD LLC in Omaha. This directory is published by DME Computer Services. Same alphabetical rules as every other listing.
What holds up
- The free limit is specific: one website, no card.
- The sample data is labeled as fake, which is better than a dashboard that pretends.
What to watch
- Paid prices are not in this listing because they were not in the text we saved.
- One free website is a small allowance if you run an MSP.
